The 5th grade students checked their bluebird trail today and was very disappoint to find that there were no bluebird nests in 6 of the 8 nestboxes.. In box 3 students did find the start of a nest but also noticed that there were bugs in the nest-possible some sort of mite? Spirits began to raise as we checked box 6 and found a bluebird nest in it. The suprise and excitement came at box 5 when students opened the box and not only found a nest but 5 eggs.
